My Background
Hi I am Lauren Bezzina, I became a Mother 18 years ago, which started the most important journey for me. My spiritual practice is the core of my life and I feel as if I have been guided to help wom(b)men in their birth journey . I have always had a passion for women, from working in domestic violence to volunteering with young mothers. I have chosen to dedicate my practice to "Mothering the Mother". Offering antenatal and postnatal support and postnatal doula services, covering West and South West London.
My Approach
I believe that every individual has the potential to have the birth they desire. As a doula my approach is centred around helping my clients make informed decisions around the best birth option for them. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their birth preferences.
I believe it takes a village to support a family and through physical, emotional and spiritual support I hope to become part of your village.
My Services
I offer a range of Doula services, including one initial free meeting, two antenatal meetings where we can explore your birth options, discuss any fears and I can explain what to expect during labour. I offer on the phone and email support throughout your pregnancy. I will be on call round the clock from 38 weeks gestation, moving to full physical support every step of the way through labour and birth . From Baby's first latch, to a postnatal review and new born advice. I offer postnatal Doula services as a separate package too, where I can provide any help you may need (anything from cooking, to dog walking to light housework). My areas of expertise include breastfeeding support, mulitiple births, and single/solo parenting.
